a.We were certified for the fourth year in a row under the EUREPGAP norm (Europe). This norm certifies the field practices in the citric platation , as well as post-harvest activities. For 2008 we will apply for the Global GAP certification.

b.The growing and processing of sugar cane has the environmental license since December 1, 2005.

c.In November, 2007, we signed a contract with Ingenieros Civiles Ambientales (ICA) for the design of a waste water treatment system.

d.Our laboratory for biological research and development is in the process of environmental licensing. The diagnostic and field visit has been done by the government's DECA (Serna) technicians.

e.Chumbagua has the environmental license for electrical energy cogeneration (green energy) .

f.We currently own approximately 250 hectares of reforestation with different commercial wood species, plus 86 hectares with high-technology design (drip irrigation system, topographic design, fertilization)
